Let the AGMs Commence!

What a great start we’ve had to the week. The team were on-site at that perennial favourite AGM venue – the QEII Conference Centre – delivering an AGM for a well-known mining company which included live video conference link ups to Montreal and Melbourne. With a 250 strong shareholder attendance, the meeting produced a lively Q&A session which was skilfully handled by the Board and the Aspect team. As we continue into the AGM season, we’re on-site next week at the Barbican Centre for a top insurance provider and on the horizon is a dual site link up AGM between the QEII in London and Guernsey for a large financial group and an AGM for a major financial institution in Dublin. Aspect are leaders in AGM production, managing some of the largest meetings in the UK.

The 2012 RAR (Recommended Agency Register) awards were held in the Bloomsbury Hotel, London on the 4th April and we are proud to announce that Aspect were most definitely winners that evening, as out of the four categories that we were entered for, we won three, including; Best in Events for up to 30 staff, Best for On Time for up to 30 staff and Top 10 Agency. And best of all, this was all from our clients recommending us, so thank you to you all.
The unique RAR Awards are based on the 5000 client ratings which are collected each year, these ratings assess a range of agencies on their skills in the fields of various disciplines and service levels. Each February, the RAR team analyse the results and the top-10 scoring agencies in each category are then shortlisted as finalists for the awards.
The Aspect team had a fantastic evening at the awards ceremony and really are delighted to be awarded with these top ratings.

This major, international, ICT company formed a brand new Board that required communication coaching to enhance their teamwork and performance. Aspect facilitated a one day workshop with individual feedback reports after the event, to provide hints and tips to improve the communication and understanding of this multi-cultural group.
Delivering a Cost Reduction Strategy for Face to Face Communications

A leading UK retailer approached Aspect to develop a strategy to move their “must attend” flagship AGM into a more business focused meeting to realise huge cost savings, bring the meeting more in line with their peers and increase shareholder and media issues rather than peripheral interest stories. We developed a 5-year plan that addressed all areas including location, venue type, time of day and meeting content reducing the AGM budget to a third of what the client currently spends within 3 years.
Enhancing the Performance of Sales Teams

Changes in buying patterns required more project related management to present at new business presentations. This international construction company recognised that these managers – some 400 – would need additional help to support the Sales and Commercial teams who present face to face on a regular basis. Having attended a number of presentations and presentation rehearsals, we identified key areas of support that were required. We then developed a 2-day intervention course to be launched company-wide to improve the confidence, comfort and presentation skills of this group and provide a wider understanding of a client’s requirements from their construction partner.
Improve Brand Coherence and Perception

After a summary of mergers, this global civil engineering consultancy faced brand coherence and perception issues with their customers and staff. Our role was to reveal and understand the relevant trends and background information that informed the brand proposition. Based on this understanding, we researched core brand issues amongst interviewees from which we applied rigorous qualitative and content analysis to provide insight into the future brand vision. We then developed and delivered a clear brand definition with guidelines and a tool box to roll out to key personnel within the business.
