5 is a magic number….

This has been an eventful week for Aspect in every sense of the word, with 5 events in 5 days the team have certainly been working hard. From Johannesburg to the West End of London, from Wembley Arena to Istanbul, from filming engineers to a Chairman’s dinner and sales and strategy conferences, diversity has been key. The global nature of these events is reflective of our clients’ own global activities and Aspect has certainly risen to the challenges this poses.

Having worked hard to achieve our ISO accreditations last year, we’re certainly not resting on our laurels. In an effort to continuously improve our environmental credentials, we attended a seminar held by those lovely people at Paper Round. The seminar enabled people to get together from different organisations and come up with new ways to be more environmentally conscious. The outcome is that all the ideas generated will be collated and distributed to the participants to see how they can use them in their own offices. You’re never too old to learn!

It came as a lovely surprise to learn from RAR (the Recommended Agencies Register) that we have been nominated as a 2012 finalist in the Best Client Ratings category at the forthcoming RAR Awards. This nomination illustrates that we’re certainly making an impression on our clients in all the right ways.

M&IT magazine recently approached us to contribute to an article about venues for small, upmarket events and, naturally, Aspect was happy to oblige. Our contribution has been included in this month’s edition of the magazine so, to read our take on Luton Hoo, The MacDonald Hotel in Windsor and the Draycott Hotel in London. Going the extra mile

We were delighted to receive a fantastic recognition from one of our clients, a major retail chain as a thank you for some ‘out of hours’ strategic consultancy work which we did for them. The client said “you have pulled out all the stops for us – for no additional fee, when you knew that it would ultimately reduce your own fee for this year’s project”. Aspect bases our work on our values, trusted, spirited and ingenious and we think that this feedback is a pretty good measurement that we have achieved all three of these.
An Overnight Success!

Great news for the Aspect team who have just completed a franchisee conference at the Birmingham ICC for one of the UK’s leading overnight parcel delivery companies. The project was a huge success and a gorgeous bouquet of flowers arrived for the team courtesy of the client, who was delighted by all aspects of the event including the speaker rehearsal training. To add to this success, Rufus Hound of Celebrity Juice fame, hosted an auction which raised a fantastic amount of money for the client’s chosen charity, Breakthrough Breast Cancer

We always like to hear from old friends at Aspect so imagine our delight when we received a lovely note from one of our graduate trainees recently. We were so overwhelmed by this message we thought we’d share it with you. “I owe you guys such a massive thank you for all the training and exposure you gave me. I went back to uni with so much useful, practical experience! I don’t know if you were aware but both Ellie and I achieved firsts and there were only about 10 in our year, so I think that says a lot about the training we received with you.” Well done Carys! We’re glad you found your time at Aspect so rewarding.

Where has the week gone? you blink and you miss it! with two events under our belt this week and another one happening this weekend the team have been buzzing around the office dotting all their i’s and crossing all their t’s. We started off the week in the city, producing a half year results webcast for an international energy business for 30 of their analysts, mid week we travelled up to Leicestershire where Producer Extraordinaire Peter Witts spent some time with the client doing speaker training with them. With plenty of other projects also being evolved this week, it certainly has been a busy week, but that’s how we like it at Aspect HQ and we wouldn’t have it any other way!
